When designing a Die Cast Part, we are focused on its application, appearance, performance, precision, and most importantly the cost. First, we will decide what customer wants to achieve in the parts and balance the requirements to comply budget.

A successful die casting design will allow the metal to fill the cavity without trapping air, solidify quickly and eject from the die without distortion for which the factors to consider is as follows

Draft allowance, Undercuts, Internal features, Datum’s, Sharp edges, Uniform wall thickness, Ejector Pins, Final Machining, Parting Lines, & Thin Steel Conditions.
